About the event

Things are really moving forward quite quickly now with our self-sustainable off-grid veganic farming community and edible forest here at Vegan Valley near Carmarthen in Wales!

We are growing lots of food, setting up irrigation systems, building compost toilets, creating meditation spots, tarting up trailers and units and planting trees! There’s a lot to do, and we need your help to do it!

Even if all you can offer is making tea for the workers, if you are vegan and want to support a cause, we want you here! We have a few people coming and going from the start of May so it will be busy socially - more so as the season progresses! If campfires and vegan feasting after working and connecting to the land appeals we still have a bell tent and wild camping availability!

We’re not quite kiddie friendly yet (that’s partly what we will be doing to get ready for the season where families will be welcome) and we only have limited spaces for parking, so if you RSVP, we will write to you and maybe even ask you to fill out a volunteer application form. If it looks like our expectations are in alignment, we can decide the practicalities of your visit over a zoom or FaceTime call. If you are not looking to stay overnight, then no forms are necessary, although we will need to chat via email about parking etc!

We have been blown away by the kindness and willingness to help by people who understand Vegan Valley is a legacy project if we continue with this course of action. With support, we plan to stay! Help us make sure that happens by volunteering or sharing our opportunities, so that by word of mouth, we find each other and create a tribe based on kindness and self sustainability.

The world needs more projects like ours, and we are happy to share our space with other people who wish to do something similar so why not get involved, get inspired and do something that feeds your soul!

For those staying the whole week we can offer a free place on our bluebell forest bathing day with lunch and sound healing!
